2.25x Monthly Revenue Boost after Flow Revamp

Pit & Pit is the leading webshop for natural nutrition in Belgium and the Netherlands. Since 2010, they’ve built a trusted brand with nearly 3,000 additive-free products and a loyal customer base. My task was to identify the biggest opportunities to re-engage previous customers, and strengthen their overall email flow strategy.

Their established list held major untapped potential for driving repeat purchases — but the existing flow wasn’t set up to support that. The sequence lacked behavioral targeting, including long delays between emails, and missed the mark on messaging that reminded customers why they’d want to return. Here's how I helped.

Since launching the revamped flow, Pit & Pit achieved a 53.2% boost in revenue per recipient—showing that each email sent delivered more value. This improvement was reinforced by a 9.8% increase in open rates and a 31.2% decrease in unsubscribe rate.

Additionally, the flow’s average monthly revenue more than doubled with a 2.25x increase compared to the previous version.

New Abandoned Cart Flow, 3.4x Boost in Monthly Revenue

The abandoned checkout flow is one of the most valuable automations for any ecommerce brand. But in this case, it wasn’t quite pulling its weight. The timing was slow, and the messaging didn’t do enough to nudge hesitant Pit & Pit shoppers over the line.

With targeted adjustments, this flow turned into a high-converting asset that worked harder behind the scenes.

The revamped checkout flow delivered a 3.4x increase in monthly email revenue, driven by smarter segmentation, faster triggers, and sharper messaging.

Additionally—average order value rose by 18.7%, showing the new flow didn’t just convert more shoppers, it led to more valuable purchases.
